Are you an American living overseas? Are you looking for information about US income taxes? Welcome to Overseas Tax Services! We specialize in moderate-income expatriate taxpayers, and have a particular interest in employees of American and international schools abroad. New Clients

Thank you so much to all of you who have expressed interest in our services. We have been nearly overwhelmed with inquiries and unfortunately will not be able to accept any more new inquiries this year. (If you've already been in touch with us, we do have you on our active client list.) We hope to have greater capacity for the 2010 filing season, so please check in next year if you're still interested. There is also a lot of useful information on this website which might help answer your questions.

Welcome back! Please create an online account (see box at left). This will give you access to the questionnaires and also provides a secure area for exchanging paperwork with us. The Resources and Price List have also been updated for the 2009 filing season, so please have a look around. The better you understand the issues surrounding taxation of Americans overseas, the better we can help you.

Getting started is as easy as 1, 2, 3...
  1. Get your overseas tax questions answered by visiting our Resources pages. You can learn about filing requirements and deadlines, the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion and how to qualify for it, rules about contributing to IRAs, state residency issues, and much more.
  2. If you're new to OTS, send us an This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it so we know you're interested, and tell us a little bit about your situation.
  3. When instructed, create an account (see box at left) to gain access to our secure Portfolio and Questionnaire areas.

Newsflash

Reminder! If you are overseas, the IRS gives you an automatic extension to June 15 to file your taxes. (But any tax due will be charged interest as of April 15.)

Did you know...?

If all of your salary is excluded under the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion, you are probably not eligible to contribute to an IRA or Roth IRA.
